Old Fashioned Chocolate Pie with Golden Meringue
Ingredients
For the Pie Filling:
1 pie crust, baked
1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Meringue:
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 cup sugar
Instructions
Bake your pie crust according to package or recipe instructions, then set it aside to cool.
In a medium saucepan, whisk together cocoa, sugar, flour, and milk. Add in the egg yolks and butter, and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens into a creamy filling. Pour it into the baked pie crust.
Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
Spoon the meringue over the chocolate filling, spreading it to the edges of the crust. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes, until the meringue turns golden brown. Let the pie cool completely before serving.

Crispy Stuffing Balls- Don't Lose This

Ingredients:
1 loaf of stale bread, cubed
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chicken broth
1 large egg, beaten
Instructions:
Prep the Bread: In a large bowl, toss the bread cubes with the melted butter.
Sauté the Veggies: In a skillet, sauté the onion and celery in a little butter until softened.
Combine Ingredients: Add the sautéed vegetables, sage, thyme, pepper, and salt to the bread cubes. Pour the chicken broth and beaten egg over the mixture, tossing to combine.
Form Balls: Shape the mixture into balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
Bake: Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot and enjoy!

Crazy Crust Pie

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 (21 oz.) can fruit pie filling (apple, cherry, peach, blueberry, blackberry, etc.)
Sugar (or cinnamon-sugar if using apple or peach filling)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter, milk, and egg. Beat the mixture until well combined.
Grease a 9-inch pie plate, and pour the batter into the dish, spreading it evenly.
Spoon the fruit pie filling into the center of the batter, leaving about 1 inch of space from the edge.
If you're using apple or peach filling, sprinkle the top with cinnamon-sugar. For other fillings, simply sprinkle sugar on top.
Do not stir the pie filling and batter.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and fully baked.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

BEST SOUTHERN PIE EVER 😋😋
Ingredients:
½ cup of buttermilk.
1 ¾ cups of sugar.
2 large eggs.
3 tbsps of flour.
A pinch of salt.
1 stick of butter.
1 tsp of vanilla.
Method:
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together until blended then pour the mixture in an unbaked 9 inch pie shell.
Sprinkle the top with some nutmeg then bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven to 400 degrees. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 45 minutes.
Let set and cool completely before serving.
Simple, easy and yummy! There’s no one who can resist the goodness of this pie. It’s like magic. You should really give it a try, you won’t regret it.
