Terrible news about the school shooting in Georgia. I worked in schools for 11 years and loved hundreds of students like my own children. Some of my friends are school teachers, counselors, and principals. I can't imagine living through this.

I am very vocal about politics and some friends and family are probably sick of hearing me. But let me say, we don't have a "gun control" issue in America. We have gun laws and some states have strict gun laws. That's not the issue. I don't know any law that allows a 14 year old to get a gun. So clearly this boy wasn't following any laws.

The problem is mental health issues. The problem is emotional issues. The problem is social media issues. The problem is family issues. The problem is Spiritual issues. Why don't we start talking about the real issues here? Our kids in America are hurting and struggling! That is the issue!!
