A “Great Job” shout-out goes to Tabor Correctional Officers Melvin Alford and William Whitmarsh who recently assisted an elderly woman who collapsed outside her residence. Officers Alford and Whitmarsh were returning to Tabor Correctional when they noticed a woman who appeared to be in the process of passing out. When she collapsed, both officers went to her aid and called 911. When the officers realized that the woman was actually babysitting her 4-year-old grandchild, Alford and Whitmarsh notified her family and stayed at the home comforting the child until the family arrived. Another great example of our Correction Officers jumping in to help people in need! Thank you!
