No wonder the hangers didn’t slide very well!🤯

Easy one for today! Want your hangers to slide better on your clothes rod? Take a piece of wax paper and wipe them off, the wax from the paper will help the hangers glide super easy! 🧈

Time for me to finish the rest of the closets!

To be fair, he didn’t ask lol!😂☺️

The problem, my side yard, had a large burn pit (fire pit) that had been used by previous tenants. Over the years, all the rock that surrounded, it was moved into the backyard to create a fire pit there. Every summer, though, this former burn pile would just grow weeds and look terrible, and I always meant to do something with it.. so I got an idea to make a flower bed out of the burn pit because ash creates very fertile soil.🌱

Also, I wanted to have a separation in my side yard, without building a new fence. The school is behind me and kids think this is an empty lot and just walk through it to meet their parents for school pick up. I want to make it clear that this isn’t a thoroughfare for all your children’s.😬🙈 Plus + make it pretty.🌻💐🌸🌱

Stay tuned! I had the idea to run wire to make a trellis, but now we’re going to use wood slats to make it even classier.💅🏼 me- let’s save money, Him- this will look even better! So excited for this project!🤩 Stay tuned!

Rock 🪨 hound for life!😆 There was no way I wasn’t using this audio.😂

The big rocks my cutie bf got for the yard added so much to the landscaping and this is the first year all the perennial flowers and plants are really maturing. We pulled on the drive the other night and I honey felt really proud.🥹 I planted every single plant 🌾🌱🌼🌻🌹 in the yard! The exception, the daffodils, but to have it look like this now, when it was dandelions, creeping Charlie and poison ivy….🤯

I’ll give it a little tour in stories today.☺️ Have you been doing any projects and planting this spring?

Rug switcheroo!🏃🏼‍♀️Switched the rug in the office, with the rug in the guest bedroom… then decided to switch the rug in the office, with the rug in the dining room!🤯

Yes, the rugs in the office and dining room are the exact same rug, just different colors, no I didn’t figure that out until I got home from . It’s really hard to tell exactly what the rug looks like when it’s all wrapped up in a roll, but I like the original rug I had bought in green, so the new one that I had bought in the warm, golden tones, I decided to keep too.💛

Do you constantly think of new ways to change up your home too? I think I have a constant folder in my brain of things I’d like to change up. ☑️😅

“NO MORE WIRE HANGERS!” - Mommy Dearest😤 Or plastic ones either if your hanging space is at a premium and your closets are small.

Take a pop tab (soda tab, coke tab, beer tab 😉), hang it over the metal part of a velvet hanger. Boom!💥 You’ve doubled your hanging space.

Things your mother didn’t teach you, stop using plastic hangers. Even if you have plenty of hanging space the velvet hangers are so slim, they will give you so much more space for hanging, even if you don’t need the pop tabs. Bonus! Your clothes won’t slide off the velvet hangers either or leave shoulder marks in your clothes, where plastic does.

I’m so happy the weather has been fantastic in Illinois and can finally enjoy ~PATIO SEASON!~ 🌞
