I laid out all these scraps thinking the mix of colors would feel cheerful and cozy… but now it just looks chaotic to me. My mom took one look and said the tan strips make it feel unfinished, like I gave up halfway. Honestly, I’m second-guessing all the time I spent piecing this together. Credited to someone ❤️

If each person only did one small part, it would stay with them. But the full work — the real edge work — is so much more. It’s the endless decisions, the hours of stitching, the mental energy, and the heart poured into every block.
Most people will only see the finished quilt and say “It’s beautiful” or “It’s not for me.” They won’t see the time, the thought, the struggle, or the love hidden in every seam.
Only fellow makers truly understand what it takes.
This blue beauty was worth every single moment.
