Before and After Makeover for our meter!
Our electric meter was such an eyesore on our beautiful farmhouse porch. Every time I looked at that ugly gray box, it just ruined the whole aesthetic we've been working so hard to create.
My husband is pretty handy with woodworking, so I convinced him to build a custom cover that would blend in with our rustic style. He measured everything perfectly and created this gorgeous cabinet that completely transforms the look of our porch.
Now I'm thinking about ordering some handmade decorative elements from crafters on the Tedooo app to put around it - maybe some wrought iron wall sconces or a vintage-style house number plaque. I want to really make this corner of the porch feel intentional and beautiful.
It's amazing what a difference it makes! Instead of trying to ignore that industrial box every time we sit on the porch, now it actually adds to the charm of our home. Sometimes the smallest changes have the biggest impact on how a space feels.
Definitely one of our most successful weekend projects this year.
