Working on a Hampton’s home office. Which would be your preference ? The first version utilizes the main wall as the built in and the desk is facing the door into the room. The second version the desk faces out a window and the built in will be along the side wall. Which do you think feels more beautiful?

New poll.. which version of this glamorous living room would you select? A cool blues and creams using the steel blue as the ceiling and bars. B. Soft pinks and creams. Using caramel as a base for the bars and ceiling. C deep navy and camel. Combo of both. Which feels more scrumptuous?

This powder room was a blank space to bring something elevated and special. We opted for this custom all marble vanity that was carved from a single brick of stone. The deco backsplash draws your eyes upwards. Using wall mounted faucets accentuates how special this sink really is. The sconces are next level design. Although they are pronounced from the walls they do feel a bit subdued and flow with the space.

This home wanted warmth,color and fun. We layered this custom, soft velvet sofa with bold navy and hot pink pillows.The artwork is a floral print on acrylic and the scale is large enough to fill the void above the sofa offering an ethereal touch. The neutral wallpaper and neutral drapery provide a soft backdrop.

If you have been watching our designs would you agree that this is a space Merkel Interiors created? Well.. I would not either… AI thinks so though. This was an exercise to see how I can use AI to help my designs. I get it- maybe there will be a future here however each designer has a personal style that comes through in their work. AI can’t achieve that level of personality..Although this was a fun excercise!
