A LITTLE PIECE OF MY GRANNY, RIGHT HERE IN MY BOOTH. 🪡❤️🪽

This gorgeous quilt belonged to my Granny, and hanging it here at Thrifty Goose means a lot to me.

She believed a home didn’t have to be fancy or filled with expensive things to be beautiful. It just needed to be warm, welcoming, and filled with things you loved.

I grew up going to thrift shops with my grandparents, never realizing those little outings would turn into something I’d carry with me for the rest of my life. Looking for treasures, finding beauty in old things, and bringing home pieces with a story became part of who I am.

Now, every time I step into my booth, I’m reminded of where that love began. It wasn’t just about finding a good deal. It was about the memories we made, the time we spent together, and learning to see the beauty in things other people might overlook. ❤️

So if you ever walk into Thrifty Goose and see this quilt, just know it’s more than a pretty piece of fabric hanging on the wall. It’s a piece of my childhood, a little bit of my Granny, and a reminder of why I started this journey in the first place.

❤️ If I could go back, I’d sit a little longer at Grandma’s kitchen table.

I’d listen to one more story, watch her cook one more meal, and soak up those ordinary afternoons I never realized would become some of my most treasured memories.

When we’re young, we think there will always be another visit, another Sunday dinner, another hug, another chance to sit and talk. But sometimes, those everyday moments turn out to be the ones we miss the most.

So hug your grandparents a little tighter. Ask them about their childhood. Learn their recipes. Listen to their stories, even if you’ve heard them a hundred times.

Because one day, you’d give anything to sit at that table just one more time.

If you’re lucky enough to still have your grandparents, go make a memory with them. You’ll never regret the time you spent. 🫶
