Sassy Black Yarns

10/12/2026

Trying to decide which colorways make the cut for Indie Untangled, and once again bringing all of them. It's a problem, but it's my kind of problem. 😄

4 days out. Come find your next favorite skein in Saugerties!

Dye pots are going and skeins are drying for Indie Untangled! This is an indie show through and through, so I'm bringing colorways with plenty of personality.

New to Indie Untangled? It's a one-day show for hand-dyed yarn, fiber, notions, and accessories from independent makers, plus a Fiber Friends photo booth and plenty of time to catch up with your fiber people. Sassy Black Yarns will be there with a full lineup of hand-dyed skeins.

5 days to go!

Indie Untangled sets up at HITS on the Hudson, with the Catskill Mountains as the backdrop and peak fall color all around. It's hard to beat a fiber show with a view like that.

Didn't get a chance to take a picture of the masterful work of truck origami. So i'm taking a picture of this little guy that I think is going to come home with me on Sunday!

TOMORROW! 🎉 If Vermont Sheep & Wool has been on your maybe-list, let this be your sign. Come meet me, squish some yarn, and spend the weekend surrounded by fiber people and fall color.
