Meet my brother, the youngest of four.

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to coordinate a beautiful wedding, and one of the highlights of the day was getting to watch my brother walk down the aisle as a groomsman. As I watched him, I couldn’t help but think back to his own wedding day.

A few years ago, my brother married his beautiful wife on my birthday. It was one of the greatest gifts I could have received. I was honored not only to stand beside him as a bridesmaid, but to serve as his Best Woman. That day was filled with so much love, joy, and meaning.

Shortly after that wedding day, I realized that I wanted to become a wedding coordinator. There was something so special about being an important part of a bride and groom’s day and helping bring their vision to life. It filled my heart in a way I can’t quite describe. Yah Events was named shortly after that.

This picture means so much to me for both of those reasons. It reminds me of the day my brother married the love of his life, and it reminds me of the passion that led me to where I am today. Most importantly, it gave me another opportunity to spend time with my brother, give him a hug, and share in someone else’s special wedding day.

Moments like these are the reason I love what I do. 🤍

For weeks, I dreamt and envisioned every detail of this beautiful event, and now I’m already dreaming up the next one. As an event decorator, seeing my visions come to life is one of the most rewarding feelings. I couldn’t be happier to have assisted in creating such a special day — now onto the next celebration. ✨
