Getting so close to reaching my goal of $250 for St. Jude. Just need a few more donations to get there.

Every $5 donated is one entry into the raffle on Saturday to win a hand crafted lap blanket. And every post share is a chance to win an amigurumi critter.

I have been through the cancer battle and still fight every day. When I think about how hard it must be for these kids, it breaks my heart. Every dollar you donate goes directly to St. Jude. Please think about donating and for those who have, thank you.

I just posted the info on the Christmas event. It's a small one and will give me more of an idea of whether it's something I could again.

For those of you who don't know, I've been doing a clinical trial in Boston since last month. So far, it's going well with little to no side effects. And it's given me lots of time to work on these amigurumi pieces. I've learned a lot and I think they keep getting better and better.

I did my pre-setup of my table and I thought you all might like to see it and if you have suggestions let me know!

I have applied for a craft event in Derry in December. Its a 2 hour event so it's right up my alley and my oxygen limits!

The gnomes will be there as well as the sno-gnomes. I'm hoping to get more of each made over the next few weeks. I added these three this weekend. Not sure about the penguin but we'll see. Love the owl made with faux fur yarn and the snowbird is pretty cool too. Still have teddy bears to make with the velvet and may have a couple other surprises as well. Stay tuned.

So, where have I been for the last month? It's been an interesting time so far.

Long story short, I have reached the limit of my traditional treatment options. So, I headed to Boston and was accepted into a Phase 1 clinical trial for a drug that specifically targets mesothelioma cells and has never been tested on humans. Needless to say, that was a lot to wrap my head around.

I am 19 days into the first cycle and I feel pretty good. No real side effects as yet to report and my labs and EKG tests have been fine. Mentally, I am better. So fingers crossed.

I haven't exactly been idle though. I've lost my sewing mojo a bit but my crochet hook has been busy. These challenge me and keep me focused on a project rather than thoughts. I'm not sure if these will go to the shop yet. I'm kind of attached to them. 😕

First football Sunday! 🏈 Not sure how my team will do this year.

Also wanted to share some of my auction winnings from this week. There were 5 but I only won in three of them. My biggest score was 33+ yards of Xmas fabric and 14 Xmas themed panels!

Check out auctionninja.com. It's a platform used by auction houses in your area to do their online auctions. It's not the most user friendly site but once you get used to it, it's fun.

Happy Friday! Just a quick one today. Overdue project #2 is done and on it's way. I also started crocheting hats for the shop.

There have been a lot of auctions this week and I did pick up a couple of plant stands. All the plants in the picture were grown from cuttings!

Good morning! I hope you all had a good long holiday weekend.

I'm busy...as usual. Currently working on overdue project #2 which should be done today. Still spending a bit of time each day crocheting so there will be new items on that end.

I do have two door hangers for fall available. They are not going to the shop, so I will be putting them up on Facebook Marketplace and on Next Door this weekend. If you know anyone interested in them, message me.

Overdue project number 1. Pat the Patriot is whole again. Some of you might remember this one. I finished it in July of 2017. The flannel backing had ripped so it needed to be replaced. I used a heavier "snuggle" flannel this time and machine stitched it rather than hand stitching, so hopefully it will last another 5 years.

Progress feels very satisfying.

As promised, the sewing room is fairly well reorganized. I still have some drawers to go through and stuff under the table to look at, but for the most part it is done.

I did a lot of purging so I have some empty small containers and totes ...for now. 😉
Three bags of trash/recycling and one bag to donate.

I'm too tired to sew today but I have a plan to get some overdue projects done so I can concentrate on holiday stuff.
