This 100% merino wool ethically sourced in South Africa is dyed by hand here in the USA. With 225 yds per skein it takes very few to knit a sweater or oversized wrap. Margeau Blanc has been restocked at the store having sold out 4 times to date. Margeau’s other book, Margeau Chapeau featuring some of the best hat patterns of the season is also available and we have lots of the hats knitted up for you to see.

Knit1Purl1 is pleased to announce that we are now stocking Yarns by The Fibre Co.

Already on the shelves is Arcadia, a DK weight, with 60% wool, 20% alpaca and 20% silk.

Another favorite by the Fiber Co is Tundra. A hand dyed yarn, with a combination of 60% alpaca, 30% wool and 10% silk it’s perfect for cowls, hats and cozy sweaters. Knitted on a US 10-11 needle this yarn is super soft and knits up quickly, with a hand so soft you won’t want to bind off.

Knit1Purl1 would like to thank all our knitters who contributed their time and expertise to knit hats for kids in need. So far we have shared over 65 hats with the community and there are still hats being dropped off at the Store.

Join us at Knit1Purl1 on Saturday, January 13 between 11am and 5PM to meet Margeau Soboti, the young talented designer responsible for our favorite sweater and hat books this season.

Margeau will be joined by her sister Rebecca who she partnered with to create The Wooliers, a line of cruelty free yarn which is 100% made in the USA and is as soft on the hand as it is beautiful.

Knitted samples of all the hats and sweaters from Margeau Blanc and Margeau Chapeau will be available in the store for you to see on January 13, 2018.
