Lavallee Brensinger’s Richard Pizzi joined Yale New Haven Health’s Adam Tarfano, BR+A Consulting Engineers’s Mark Octeau, and Dartmouth Health's Tim Bishop at the 2026 New England Healthcare Engineers' Society Conference to present, “A Specialty Pharmacy Isn’t the Pharmacy of the Past – It’s an Innovative and Groundbreaking Distribution Center.”

They discussed the planning, design, and operations of specialty pharmacies, along with key considerations for creating successful, efficient environments that support their unique distribution and patient care needs.

We had a great time at this year’s retreat at Adventurelore! The day kicked off with team-building activities that challenged everyone to work together, communicate, and problem-solve. Afterward, team members had the chance to explore everything camp had to offer, including mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, and a ropes course.

The day was a great reminder of the value of collaboration, teamwork, and getting to know one another beyond our everyday roles!

Congratulations to the Town of Reading, MA, the ground has been broken for the new Killam Elementary School!
