Is your window fogging up between the panes? It could be costing you more than you think.

A failed seal in an insulated glass unit can allow the insulating gas between the panes to escape and moisture to enter. That reduces the window's ability to help keep warm air inside during the winter — making your heating system work harder.

The good news? You may not need to replace the entire window! In many cases, we can replace the failed insulated glass unit while keeping your existing frame.

Replace the glass — not the whole window and frame.

📞 Call Metropolitan Glass Company at 636-391-8000 to see if replacing your window unit is an option.

Sometimes, it’s not about making the sale — it’s about simply being of service. ❤️

We were recently called to a home where the customer had a broken window in their sunroom. Rob took the time to look at the situation and let the homeowner know that the windows may still be under warranty through the manufacturer. Rather than immediately ordering a replacement through us, Rob encouraged him to check into the warranty first.

We typically charge a $60 measure fee to cover our time and travel. However, if we aren’t able to help a customer with their project, **we don’t charge the measure fee.**

A few days later, this customer called our office just to tell us how grateful he was for Rob’s honesty and willingness to help. He even insisted on paying Rob for his time and sent us a handwritten thank-you note. 📝❤️

This is what being a small, family-owned business is all about.

We take pride in truly being of service to our customers — even when it doesn’t result in a sale.

Thank you for trusting Metropolitan Glass Company. We appreciate every customer who gives us the opportunity to help!
