There’s a certain elegance to a trip that’s been designed this well.

With , Patagonia became something more—an experience shaped around choice. Push into the landscape, or simply exist within it.

What stayed with me most: the rhythm of it all. Independent days, shared evenings, and the subtle luxury of everything working exactly as it should.

Understated, intentional, and beautifully done.

Happy 21st birthday, Mary! What a time to be a Hoosier! Being snowed in and no classes should make for a great day! Love you more than we love Fernando, and that mean it's a lot of love. Have a great day and even better year ahead.

Indiana fever is real. We are HOOSIER NATION! In honor of tomorrow's big game, I'm throwing it back to this video posted in October. Hoosiers of all ages were basking in the glory, and I was there to help! At the time, we just wanted this super fan to make it in the Jumbotron! While I don't know his name, I sure hope he is in Miami and can witness the Hoosiers win it all. Let's go Hoosiers!

When a father takes advice from a grown son, we do our best to deliver. The directive was to make the house have color...like Easter eggs. (And not like Taylor Swift Easter eggs). He wanted bright, happy, fun colors. In most rooms, it's subtle nods of fun colors in a mostly neutral palette. We went BOLD and BRIGHT and PINK in the powder room. I can't wait to share the photos of the finished space. In the meantime, here's a glimpse, or maybe some would call it "an Easter egg".

Do we take on projects outside of Los Angeles? Absolutely!
We love embracing the unique character that new locations bring. Yesterday, we were in the heart of Wickenburg, AZ, a true Western town. It’s an exciting project for a very special family, and we couldn't be more thrilled to dive in.
We spent the day meeting with contractors, and the footwear of choice? Classic cowboy boots, of course! 🤠 The inspiration for the space comes from elements already in the home: rustic Saltillo tiles, authentic brick construction (not veneer!), and beautiful Spanish tiles.

This house is getting a full makeover, but we're staying true to its roots—honoring the Western spirit so that cowboys and cowgirls alike will feel right at home after a long day on the ranch. 🌵🏡

Stay tuned for the transformation!

Construction is not a 9-5 job, and I love partnering with contractors who will show up on Saturdays to push the timeline along. We had three meeting Saturday morning all focused on outside projects from pools to patios to landscape installation.

One photo...so many decisions.

This was going to be a small bathroom to begin with. Then during the remodel, the framing had to change from 2x4 to 2x6 (won't bore you with the details and countless meetings trying to troubleshoot)

We lost two inches which had a downstream effect. Suddenly our toilet was not going to have the 30" it needs for code. Client wanted to stick with a tub, but it became a puzzle we had to solve.

This is a corner tub which is not common but allowed us to have glass vs a wall on the toilet side which saved us the inches we needed. Finding one in stock and with the correct drain side wasn't easy, but with the amazing team at we pulled off a swap.

Yesterday we walked in and didn't know the tile was being installed and the client gasped in Joy. Seeing the tile up is always a huge milestone. It is the moment where the vision starts to come to life

This small bathroom is a compilation of so many decisions. Each room in a house is similar. It's why I love doing what I do. I love partnering with clients and guiding them through decision after decision until we get to the point where we gasp in joy!
