Behind the Scenes: Sourcing for a Ralph Lauren Meets Montana Home ✨

I’ve been deep in furniture sourcing for a Ralph Lauren-meets-Montana residence - layered, tailored, and rich with character.

Designing a luxury mountain home in Montana is about more than selecting beautiful pieces. It’s about curating history, depth, and warmth into every room.

For this Rock Creek project, we leaned into saturated, heritage tones - oxblood, indigo, saddle brown, antique walnut - colors that feel both refined and grounded in the landscape.

Two standout vintage finds:

• A 150-year-old foyer rug in deep crimson and navy - instantly anchoring the space 🙏
• A Danish vintage trunk, now reimagined as a coffee table - storied, worn, and full of soul.

Collected. Intentional. Timeless.

Project Sneak Peak 💫

Site visits are truly one of the highlights of my day-especially at our Whispering Meadow project. I usually pull up with a checklist in hand, ready to walk through updates with our clients and contractors… but I’m also secretly scanning the treeline for our resident wildlife welcoming committee 🧐

Today didn’t disappoint. A curious grouse perched above us, supervising our conversation from the branches, while a parade of wild turkeys tiptoed across the fields as if they owned the place. Only in Montana! 🦃🌲

Inside, we adjusted lighting locations, verified cabinetry layouts, and celebrated the installation of the interior doors. Every visit brings another layer of progress, and watching this home transform has been such a joy 🤎
