I thought this little gnome was adorable… until my husband said:
“Be careful, he’s standing right by the door. He’ll see you bringing more fabric into the house.”
I replied:
“That’s okay, he’s my friend. He understands that a woman can never have too much Christmas fabric.”

I was so surprised when my granddaughter asked me to make her a Christmas tree for her birthday. I asked, “Why don’t you wait until Christmas? A birthday should have a different kind of gift.”
She looked at me and said, “But I love the fabric things you make, Grandma. If I can only hang them at Christmas, that’s not enough. I want something in my room that reminds me of you all the time.”
Some gifts don’t need to be expensive… they just need to be filled with love and Grandma’s stitches.

The best thing about a fabric snowman is that he never melts. The worst thing is that the candy beside him disappears suspiciously fast. I asked everyone, and nobody knew anything. The snowman just sat there smiling.
