Fall color doesn't have to mean orange. This one leans burgundy and plum, with deep peonies, burgundy ranunculus, and dusty mauve berries, and I wove in pale, feathery plumes and brown foliage so it wouldn't feel heavy. It's built into a natural willow basket, which gives it that gathered-from-the-garden look I keep coming back to. Low and wide on purpose, so it sits on a dining table without blocking the view across it. 🍁

There's something about frosted greenery against a front door that just feels like Christmas to me. This grapevine wreath is layered with snowy cedar and eucalyptus, red berry clusters, pinecones, and a few small red bells hiding in the branches. I finished it with a red velvet bow trimmed in gold and a round Merry Christmas sign with a horse and sleigh, the kind of scene that makes you want to slow down a little.
