What does Rigid Core mean?
A modern alternative to the classic sheet vinyl, Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) or Tile (LVT) uses an engineered core to provide stability and water-resistance. This engineered core is made out of Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) or Stone Plastic Composite (SPC), or some combination of the two.

What's the difference between WPC and SPC?
WPC uses a wood-plastic composite core, while SPC uses a stone-plastic composite (often limestone-filled) core. WPC tends to feel softer and more forgiving underfoot; SPC is notably firmer and more rigid. WPC is popular in living spaces and bedrooms for comfort; SPC shines in high-traffic areas and spaces with uneven subfloors or radiant heat.

Values in Action: Go the Extra Mile | Collaborate & Communicate đź’™

Sometimes, the best examples of our UCX values happen when the clock is ticking and our customers need us to make it happen.
That’s exactly what happened with our Orlando team.

Just after noon on a Thursday, a national customer called with an urgent request: 144 bags of self-leveler needed in Naples, Florida, between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. the next morning.

The Orlando team immediately jumped into action. Kevin Melton, based in Concord, NC, joined the effort, working across locations to coordinate resources, communicate details, and find a solution.

Together, they made sure the material arrived exactly when the customer needed it.

That’s Go the Extra Mile—putting the customer first and refusing to accept “it can’t be done.”

And it’s Collaborate & Communicate—proving that great teamwork isn’t limited by branch or geography.
