Hi everyone, I’m writing to you in a time of need. I’ve just experienced every pet parent’s worst nightmare, taking their beloved fur baby to the Emergency Vet. Most of you know Athena, our 2 year old tuxedo tabby, she’s my little side kick and boss of the house. I’m happy to report that she’s doing well but not out of the woods yet. She may have had an encounter with an extremely deadly plant (to cats!). I feel partially to blame since I knew the risk. We’re unsure if she ingested any of the plant, she doesn’t typically eat plants to begin with. My boyfriend and I decided to take her to the vet for treatment out of extra caution. We have to take her to the vet again today, and also she has her yearly checkup on Saturday. Ironically this is extremely bad timing for a variety of reasons. The biggest being that my main part time art therapy job significantly dropped/cut my hours starting this month. I’ve applied to new jobs but was only given 2 weeks notice which is highly unrealistic timing to find a new job with the equivalent income. While I wait to hear back from the places I applied to, I’ve turned to my art business and craft skills. I’d appreciate if anyone is able, to buy from my website or at the very least interact with this post to get my business more traction. I just invested a good amount of time and money into a new product that I think my creative arts therapist friends are going to like. Every like, share, comment, and repost makes a difference. Also if you’re willing to donate money directly to me please DM me I can take Venmo or Zelle. Much love 🩷 Lauren
