Step 5: Coating — The secondary backing is attached to the tufted primary backing with a smooth layer of latex, while soil-protection chemistry is added to help protect the finished carpet.

Step 6: Distribution — Every roll is inspected for quality, wrapped, labeled, and prepared for shipment.

🔥 Heat Setting locks the twist of the yarn in place, helping the fibers maintain their strength and durability.

🧵 Tufting uses thousands of needles to insert the yarn into the primary backing, where pile height, density, weight, patterns and loops begin to take shape.
