Tucked back into the quiet countryside of the Leelanau Peninsula, is a small shop named Northern Boater which is full of authentic Nautical Antiques and wonderful works of local art by my wife, Michelle. She passed last Summer. This is the place where we spent twenty-two beautiful years together.
The shop has moved to this property, where (thankfully) folks have already discovered it to be an escape from the crowds and traffic, and a worthwhile visit.
Relax your pace, travel just 12 miles from Traverse City, and visit what we considered to be a God given passion for the two of us.
I'm thankful for still being able to share it with you.
The shop hours are Tuesday through Saturday, ten til four. ⚓
