Regretfully I have to announce that we will not be having a hockey season this session due to sign ups being less than expected. I will be looking into what the best age group will be to continue this league and also look into a future date to start a new session. Look for a poll to come out within a day or two about age group recommendations.

It's time to get your son and daughter signed up for the NEW CO-ED Youth floor/ball hockey league in St Louis. Winter session starts the week of Jan 4th. This is a professionally organized league going into its inaugural season! All games have paid officials and a scorekeeper. This is the place your child can have fun, and show what they can do! We play Friday nights at the Maplewood Salvation Army. 10 Weeks of play. 4 on 4 + Goalie. No check league. Shirts included with custom made team logos all made in house. St Louis owned and operated. If your child loves hockey and wants to play like the Blues, then sign up for PowerPlay Floor Hockey! We are the new kids in town and will be playing on Friday nights at the Maplewood Salvation Army. Children ages 7-10 are welcome to sign up for our first session starting Friday, January 15th! The season will run on friday for 10 weeks, 9 weeks of regular season and 1 week of playoffs. We welcome children of any skill level as well. Whether you are an ice hockey pro and just want more practice on your shot or goalie work, or you're a beginner looking to learn the ropes, this is the place to start! As of now we are ready for sign ups of both players and coaches! Coaches please sign up under the Captains button. it is free of charge for coaches to sign up this season, but you have to be able to pass a background check. Coaches will get to pick their team names and we will fill up as many teams as we possibly can. If you do not have a logo idea, the league will supply you one. The determination of coaches will be used on a First come, First Serve basis, meaning if we have 5 coaches but enough to fill 4 teams we will use the first 4 coaches to sign up. If a team would like an assistant coach then we can always place that 5th coach with a person.

Players who already have a coach and a team please sign up under the Players button. everyone else, please sign up under the "Looking for a team" button.

We are officially 60 days 15 hours and 27min from the start of our first ever season! Recruit some friends and lets get this new league kicked off right!

Hello everyone! We are officially 74 days from the planned start date of our season! I have no new info at this time but once the website is updated and ready to go I will inform you all! Let's get ready for an exciting first season and start getting your teams together!

Hello everyone I have some new information to share with everyone!

The most notable change is we will be starting out as a 7-10 age division only.
I am looking into expanding it to one 7-10 age division and one 11-13 age division but will have more information for you on if this will be happening in the coming months.

The plan is to start the first game on January 15th, 2016 and will run for 10 weeks with that 10th week being playoffs. Games will be played at the Maplewood Salvation Army. (Times are TBD at this time)

The price will be $60 for each kid. This will register them for the league and get them their team t-shirt with their teams logo on the front, and their chosen name and number on the back. Each team will be allowed to choose their own names and are welcome to submit their own logo to us. If you do not have a logo idea then we will create one for you to use.

Each team must have a minimum of 8 kids on the team and a maximum of 15 kids. If you cannot find a team to play on then sign up as an individual and we will assign you to a team.

Volunteer Coaches will be required for each team.

THIS WILL BE A NO CONTACT LEAGUE! Any shoving in the corners, fighting, normal hockey penalties, or purposeful contact deemed by the referees will result in a penalty or suspension by the league.

Goalies for each team are required to wear full goalie gear. This includes goalie helmet, leg pads, glove and blocker, and chest protector. (Side note to this: I am not saying it has to be ice hockey gear or the super expensive gear. It can be street hockey gear. If you are questioning whether or not it will be acceptable then please contact me and I will answer your questions as soon as possible). If you would like suggestions on where to look for gear or anything else then please contact me. I know a few places to look in the area.

Skaters for each team are required to have a stick and shin guards at the absolute minimum. Shin guards could be usual hockey shin guards or just soccer shin guards. If you have any questions on what will be allowed and what will not then please contact me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Those are the main changes at this time, I will let you know of any other changes or updates via posts on this page. As always help us spread the word to others as we would like to have a full league for our very first season!

Hello their PowerPlay fans! My name is Tyler Henson and I am excited to announce that I have taken over as commissioner of the PowerPlay Floor Hockey league! Once I gather more information on what season we will be starting, the confirmation of a location and all the other small logistics I will let you know, but my goal is to have it up for this coming winter session.
