Recently took a walk down memory lane, visited a home that Roy built, we created together and completed about twenty five years ago.
I discovered that nothing changed, nothing has moved, everything is exactly the way that I left it. All the yards and yards of dupion hand guided embroidered silk, chiseled marble floors, hand hooked tapestry, custom lamps, custom walnut cabinetry, custom stained glass, this home even has a urinal 🤣 oh my goodness, I could go on and on. A real time machine.

Is your New Year's Resolution to declutter? We can help, let's start with simple advice.
Build Your "Decluttering Muscle": Never start with sentimental items. Practice with easier categories like kitchen duplicates or old clothes first, to build the momentum needed for emotionally charged decisions. Instead of asking "What can I get rid of?", ask "What do I want to keep?"
Find 12 items to throw away, 12 to donate, and 12 to return to their proper home.
Turn all your clothes hangers backward. When you wear an item, flip the hanger. After 3–6 months, donate everything on a backward hanger.
Focus on the life you want to live now, rather than serving as a curator for your past.
