Recognition is more than an award. It’s how we tell the story of our profession. ✨

As I step into my new role as Chair of the ASID Awards & Recognition Committee, I’ve been thinking about the people whose talent, leadership, service, and ideas continue to move our industry forward.

Recognition says: We see what you’re doing. Keep going.

It celebrates what has been accomplished, but it can also inspire what happens next.

I’m excited to build on the incredible work already underway and continue finding meaningful ways to recognize the people shaping the future of design.

Here’s to an exciting year ahead!

NO STRINGS ATTACHED... AND NO SUGARCOATING. 🎙️

I had such a great conversation with Roger Magalhães on the No Strings Attached podcast today.

We talked about some of the things business owners don’t always talk about publicly, the internal challenges, the difficult moments, and what it really takes to keep building, leading and moving forward when things aren’t quite as polished behind the scenes as they may look from the outside.

I’ve been in the window treatment industry for a long time, and one thing I know for sure: there’s always more to the story.

Thank you, Roger, for creating a space for honest conversations about business, life and this industry we love.

Sometimes the best conversations are the ones with no strings attached. 😉

LIVE FROM THE WORKROOM! ✂️✨

A custom Roman shade is in the making, and it’s all about the details.

Scalloped bottom. Cording along the edge. Interlining for beautiful structure. And that pattern you see? That’s actually the back, a custom contrast lining selected by the designer.

Because sometimes the back deserves to be just as beautiful as the front. 😉

Your Vision. Our Expertise. Beautifully Executed.
