A few more mugs I glazed this weekend. The pictures do not capture their true beauty. The two bigger mugs are $25 each, the smaller one is $20.

Well here are the results of my glazed mugs. I hope you can pick the before and after ones they are pretty much in order if you scroll through.

$20 each for the larger mugs
$15 for the smaller one that is brown with the cream speckled on top.

Glazed some mugs yesterday. Its a process because I need to be patient and wait for each coat to dry and most take about 6 coats. I hope glazing never gets boring, I never know what they will look like after firing. For example, the burnt orange color one, that one will be bluish in color. Wwll its supposed to be. Lol.

They never look pretty before but a little heat (over 1200 degrees of heat) does wonders.

I fired up the kiln yesterday and put in my soap dishes I made a few months back. This one turned out super cute. I hand rolled the clay, used a clay cutter and then when it was bone dry Tony used the laser to etch the flowers. I cant wait to make more!!

Tony using our goat milk soap with pumice to wash the grease off his hands. He loves that stuff.

I fired up the kiln yesterday. We bought it about 2 months ago and just hadnt been ready to try it. I glazed two soap dishes, they had a Christmas design so it was ok to use as a sample as it was too late to sell this season. The kiln fired up and did what it was supposed to. We have an old manual kiln so it will take some getting used to.
