Flippin' Free Bird After some health struggles my art took a hit due to some issues with my back and left arm. That has led me down another path.

Please enjoy watching my thrifting and antiquing journey. This is something my whole family enjoys with me and it brings peace.

I had a great time buying all this stuff… now I have to clean it, research it, take pictures and list it. 😭🤣 I swear it multiplies when I get it home.

And my assistant fell asleep at my feet under the desk, so clearly I’m on my own.

It’s a lot sometimes, especially on the days I don’t feel good, but I love finding this stuff. Every sale helps our family, and getting to do this with my kids around me makes it worth it.

Thank you for shopping with us, sharing our posts and cheering us on. Now somebody remind me of this pile next time I say I’m I'm going sourcing 🤣

Full disclosure: in 14 years of shipping for my business, I’ve actually been lucky. I’ve never had a post office horror story! 🤞

I’ve heard enough of everyone else’s to wrap your orders like they’re being kicked around by Ace Ventura.

You WILL need scissors and a ton of patience to get to your order BUT the hope is that it will arrive in one piece and not 20. So you’re welcome. ❤️

What’s YOUR shipping horror story? Who gave you postal service trust issues?

The inventory outgrew its space, so shelf number two went up today thanks to my sidekick Brenden. Now to convince every little treasure it has a designated spot and also convince myself not to mess it all up 🤣

I asked ChatGPT to create a caricature of me and my job based on everything it knows about me, and honestly… it nailed the chaos. 😂

Vintage treasures, tattoos, all black, a camera, shipping boxes, coastal Georgia, and of course a raven overseeing the entire operation. 🖤🤘

Which detail feels the most “me,” and what should it have added?

A little behind-the-scenes truth about reselling…

It’s easy to see an item posted online and think, “They found that for a few dollars and now they’re selling it for more.” But the price tag at the thrift store is only where the work begins.

I’ve been working since I woke up today; sourcing, inspecting every item, researching brands and sold prices, cleaning, removing lint, checking for flaws, taking photos, measuring, writing descriptions, choosing prices and finally posting everything.

Then comes organizing inventory, answering questions, sending offers, packing orders and making sure each purchase reaches its new home safely.

Reselling is treasure hunting, but it’s also research, photography, cleaning, customer service, inventory management, shipping and a truly unreasonable amount of laundry. 😂

I love finding overlooked pieces and giving them another chance instead of letting them end up in a landfill. But there is a lot of time, care and work behind every listing you see.

So when you shop with a small reseller, you aren’t just buying an item; you’re supporting all the invisible work that helped you find it. And believe me, every purchase, share and kind comment is deeply appreciated. ❤️
