Ever read a flooring estimate and wonder what all those terms actually mean? Here's a quick translation from a quote we just gave a client:

✔️ Site-Finished Hardwood – Hardwood is installed unfinished, then sanded, stained, and finished in your home. This gives you complete control over the final color and sheen.

✔️ 3/4" Solid Hardwood – Made from a single piece of wood, not layers. It's the traditional hardwood floor that can be sanded and refinished multiple times over its lifetime.

✔️ #1 Common Red Oak – One of America's most popular hardwood species. This grade includes natural color variation, mineral streaks, and character marks that give the floor a warm, authentic look.

✔️ 3¼" Width – A classic plank width that has been a favorite for generations and works beautifully in both traditional and transitional homes.
