Please join us in welcoming our Summer 2026 interns, Kaiden Walden (R) and Karilyn Almodóvar (L), to designONE studio!

Kaiden is an incoming fourth-year Interior Design student at the University of Kentucky with a passion for creating meaningful and memorable experiences through design. She is especially interested in hospitality design and enjoys exploring how thoughtfully crafted spaces influence the way people connect, feel, and interact. Kaiden plans to pursue a Master of Architecture after graduation and is excited to continue developing her skills while contributing to the collaborative and creative environment at designONE studio.

Karilyn is an Architecture student at Kennesaw State University whose creativity, curiosity, and positive spirit make her a wonderful addition to our team. Her passion for architecture began after learning about La Sagrada Família in Barcelona and realizing the powerful connection between art and the built environment. Outside of her studies, Karilyn enjoys crafting, drawing, exploring new places, and sharing her enthusiasm for classic cars and military aircraft.

We're thrilled to have Kaiden and Karilyn join us this summer and look forward to the fresh ideas, energy, and talent they will bring to designONE studio!

designONE studio is proud to announce its selection by for the historic renovation of the iconic in Atlanta, Georgia. As one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Atlanta skyline, the Westin Peachtree Plaza has long stood as a symbol of innovation, hospitality, and architectural significance. designONE studio is honored to partner with Portman to help reimagine and revitalize this celebrated property for the next generation of guests and visitors.

The renovation project will focus on enhancing the hotel experience while respecting the building’s historic legacy and internationally recognized design. Through an elevated and thoughtful design, the project aims to bring renewed energy, modern functionality, and timeless sophistication to one of the city’s most iconic destinations.

designONE studio looks forward to working alongside Portman and the project team to deliver a transformative hospitality experience that honors the tower’s architectural heritage while positioning it for the future.

We are pleased to introduce Abby Curtiss to the team!

Originally from Dothan, Alabama, Abby graduated this past spring from Auburn University’s INDS program. While her first internship was with a residential firm, she quickly found herself drawn to the larger scale and immersive nature of hospitality design.

“What draws me to hospitality is the opportunity to curate memorable moments through design that focuses heavily on the nature of place and the human experience,” Abby shares. “I’m a big lover of history and geography, and my greatest inspiration for design lies in the location of a project.”

Outside of design, Abby enjoys good music, food, art, and spending time with her two cats. Having never lived in a big city before, she’s also excited to explore everything Atlanta has to offer.

We’re excited to welcome Brittney Greco to the team at designONE studio!

A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, Brittney brings nearly 17 years of design experience and a deep passion for hospitality design. Her approach is rooted in storytelling, believing that every project is an opportunity to create spaces where people can relax, connect, feel inspired, and make lasting memories.

When asked what draws her to hospitality design, she shared,
“Each project is another opportunity to tell a story that will help someone feel relaxed, nourished, inspired, or simply become part of someone’s memories.”

And outside the studio? During a vacation in Alaska, Brittney discovered a love for base jumping, proving she brings both creativity and adventurous spirit to everything she does.

We’re thrilled to have Brittney on the team and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make at designONE studio!

designONE studio is excited to share the progress of the Royal Ballroom addition at the historic Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, FL. The famous Pink Palace in the Sunshine capital of the world will soon have a fantastic new ballroom space with beautiful views of the beach from the salon floors. Stay tuned for more updates as the construction completion approaches.
