🤩 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🤩 Hive Mind Market has teamed up with Marion Community School of the Arts (CSA) to empower the next generation of makers in Grant County! Join us each week at CSA for a new class, taught by a local maker, to learn how to make, bake and create just like they do!
Our mission with this project is to create opportunities for our community to connect, learn, create, and express themselves through the arts, while gaining confidence and seeing how attainable of a goal it is, to become an entrepreneur and bring your makes to Hive Mind Market for the community to celebrate.
We have such a rich and vibrant community of makers in Grant County and we are incredibly proud to put them in the spotlight for this project with CSA! Thank you to our friends for putting in their time, energy and talents, and for being so willing to help others learn! There is truly enough room for everyone, and each maker is unique in their own way. Join us each week and get to know our makers, while becoming one, yourself!
CSA is a great place to learn! From dancing to pottery, acting to baking, there is a class for everyone! Located in Downtown Marion at 305 South Adams Street, this location is easy to find for those coming from out of town, and provides plenty of free parking around the square. Plan to walk down the block and eat at a local restaurant such as Grant’s Place, or get an adult bevvy with your dinner at Obi's Barbecue or Folkie's Tavern, enjoy local shopping at cool places like Psychedelic Cellar and Marion Cycle Works, and schedule an appointment at Wild Sage Studio to balance your energy with hot stones, massage, and peaceful vibes.
Registration for the Hive Mind Makers Series is available online at https://csa-marion.com/classes (click “Workshops'' or “Visual Arts”) where you can choose your favorite nights, or sign up for all classes in the Hive Mind Markers Series! Each one night class has its own age range for participants, from kids to adults, and you can find all additional information on the CSA website. Here’s a sneak peek of who’s teaching what:
