Because I didn't realize that tomorrow is the last Thursday of the month until today, I will not be having a craft and sip night this month... Plan on being here on June 25th to make circle welcome porch signs! Once I have the rest of the materials in the shop, I will post a picture and add an event!

Over the last couple of weeks I have been introduced more to a pattern company that produces simple card patterns made by various designers! This particular company has a pattern designer from Wisconsin and she names all of her patterns after cities in the state!

I present to you the pattern called MARKESAN!!!

After a small nudge from a follower, I have come up with a great idea! With 2026 being the 250th celebration for the USA, I thought it would be awesome to have various quilters from the area make a block to put the quilt together. Once it's done, it would be auctioned off and all proceeds will go to the Abendroth-Connolly American Legion Post 282!

I would like the blocks to be a red, white and blue theme, rather than the multi-colored theme that the pattern shows. I do have fabrics that can be purchased at the shop or you can use whatever is in your stash! I have ordered more patterns, but it'll be a bit before I receive them. Those who participate will receive a free pattern!

Next week is Paducah Quilt Week!!!

For the shop, this means that I will be closed all next week and will reopen on Tuesday, April 28th! It has been a many year's tradition for me to go with my mom and 2 of my aunts for the week. They are getting older and I don't know that I can trust them to be so far away on their own! LOL It's kind of like "Driving Miss Daisy" with your own family members!

Craft and Sip Night for April

This month I will be holding the craft and sip night on Thursday, April 30th. This month's craft is yet to be determined, but it's a night to get to know others and take something home to display!

Finger foods and munchies are always provided, along with a choice of wines and other beverages.

Cost will be between $20 and $30!
