There’s nothing like a road trip to remind you that some of the best parts of business are the people you meet along the way.

​I spent the day with Tammie, heading out to visit my candle vendor, and we didn’t stop talking the entire time! Sharing memories and sweet thoughts made the miles fly by. We had the best time visiting The White Pear Barn, where I finally got to meet Stephanie and Tim.

​Stephanie’s market is absolutely lovely, and her Fritz and Fern candles are incredible. I may have "paroozed" a little too well because I scored some amazing Americana candles for the 4th of July! I can’t wait for you guys to smell these.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! It has been fun and challenging as a new business owner, so the support this past Saturday meant the world to me, as I opened the store. Prepping these herb starter kits for this weekends church event. I can't wait to start my seeds soon. If you plant seeds what do start? Besides all the vegetables, I like dahlias and zinnias mixed. Herbs and more herbs... especially rosemary. I love rosemary.

You all have been sending in such thoughtful questions lately, so I wanted to hop on and answer a few of the big ones.
“Who’s making the UFG products now?”
That would be… me! From the welding to the cutting to the sanding — every single step is done by my own two hands. Brian and Tammie live just six minutes away, and I’ve been in the shop with Brian making sure the quality stays exactly where it should be.
“Where’s the workshop?”
Right now, it’s at our home. I’m in the final stretch of getting everything set up and running smoothly, and it’s been so exciting to see it all come together.
“Will there be a physical shop again?”
That is absolutely the dream. My husband and I are working on plans to build a shop on our property so you can come out, browse in person, and pick out your pieces right from the source. It’ll take time, but it’s part of the long‑term vision.
“What markets will you be at this year?”
I’m working on rounding out my schedule now and will share all of the dates and locations in an upcoming post. I can’t wait to see you out and about this season.
