💐❤️ Last week was a rough one, to say the least.

We said goodbye to two wonderful people who will be deeply missed. It was a week filled with heartache, tears, and heavy hearts.

But through the sadness, I was truly honored to create beautiful flowers to celebrate their lives. There is something so special about being trusted to make the final floral tributes for someone so loved. ❤️

Sometimes flowers say the words that are just too hard to find. 🌹

Our thoughts and prayers are with both families as they navigate the difficult days ahead.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting Farm Girl Flowers & More during such a personal and emotional time. It is an honor I will never take lightly. ❤️💐

💐🚨 BUYER BEWARE! KNOW WHO YOU’RE ORDERING FLOWERS FROM! 🚨💐

We want to take a moment to educate our customers about something called FLORAL ORDER GATHERERS!

🌸 What is a floral order gatherer?

These are companies that advertise flowers online, often making it appear as though they are a LOCAL flower shop. However, many of them don’t actually have a storefront or design a single arrangement!

Instead, they take your order, keep a portion of your money, and then try to find a real local florist to fill it.

💸 Here’s the problem:
❌ You may pay more than you would ordering directly from a local florist.
❌ The florist may receive significantly less money than you originally spent.
❌ Your arrangement may not look like what you ordered.
❌ Some orders may be delayed or never fulfilled.
❌ You may think you’re supporting a small local business when you’re actually paying a middleman!

🌷 HOW CAN YOU AVOID THIS?

✅ Call the flower shop directly.
✅ Make sure they have a REAL local storefront.
✅ Check their address and reviews.
✅ Order directly from their website instead of clicking on the first sponsored ad you see.

❤️ When you order directly from Farm Girl Flowers & More, you’re supporting a REAL small-town flower shop with REAL people who care about every arrangement that leaves our doors!

We take pride in creating beautiful flowers, providing personal service, and making sure your hard-earned money goes toward the flowers you intended to send.

🌻 SHOP LOCAL. ORDER DIRECT. SUPPORT YOUR HOMETOWN FLORIST!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan’s mom, Earlene. ❤️

Earlene will be deeply missed here at Farm Girl Flowers & More. When Earlene was around, our floors were always swept, the trash was never overflowing, there was never a plant waiting to be potted, and we definitely never got too many breaks when she was in charge. ❤️🌸

Those are the little things that will make us smile when we think of her, and her presence around the flower shop will be missed more than words can say.

To allow our Farm Girl Flowers family to attend Earlene’s visitation and be there for Susan and her family, we will be closing at noon on Friday, October 9th.

Thank you for your understanding, your kindness, and for keeping Susan and her family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Earlene. We’ll try our best to keep the floors swept, the trash emptied, and the plants potted. ❤️
