Most people only see the finished space.
What they don't see is everything that happens before a single piece of furniture is placed and the phases of renovation.

For this 1941 home renovation, we started by understanding how the homeowners live, what they loved about their home, and what wasn't working for them. From there, we developed a design concept inspired by the home's original character while creating spaces that function for modern life.

One of the most valuable parts of the design process is helping clients see the finished vision before construction is complete. It allows every decision, from paint colors and flooring to lighting and furnishings, to feel intentional and connected.

This project is still underway, but it's exciting to see the vision starting to come to life.

We had the opportunity to stage this beautiful Skogman Home, highlighting the warm wood finishes, open-concept layout, and inviting living spaces buyers are looking for today.

From the olive green sectional to the layered textures and earthy accents throughout the home, every detail was selected to create a cohesive design story and help buyers envision themselves living here.

Hi, I'm Alushia 👋

I'm the owner and lead designer behind Staging 2 Sell It.

Staging 2 Sell It was founded by my mom, Debra Hippler, in 2015. I joined the business in 2016, and together we spent nearly a decade growing it into the company it is today.

In 2025, I proudly purchased the business when my mom retired, continuing the work and values that have been at the heart of Staging 2 Sell It since the beginning.

I've always believed that every project, big or small, deserves to be beautiful and functional. That philosophy guides every home we stage and every design project we take on.

With an Interior Design degree, more than 10 years of industry experience, and an 8,000 square foot warehouse of carefully curated inventory, I've had the privilege of helping builders, agents, developers, and homeowners throughout Iowa create spaces that stand out.

But this business is about more than furniture and décor.

It's about helping builders showcase their craftsmanship.
