Dear Friends and Valued Customers,
It’s difficult to believe that I have been serving Scituate and the South Shore with quality carpeting and vinyl flooring now for 36 years, 25 years as Shannon Flooring.
That’s a lot of carpeting. That’s a lot of business calls. And, most important, that’s a lot of friends and long-lasting professional relationships that you and I have enjoyed over all those years.
Thank you.
It has been my pleasure to serve you. I have been grateful for all the invitations into your homes and into your lives. I hope you have been pleased and more than satisfied with our efforts to beautify your homes and provide customer service without parallel.
As a New Year dawns, I have an announcement I want to share with you. It’s about another milepost in my professional journey -- a journey that you have helped make so fulfilling.
I have decided to draw down the curtain on The Floor Show/Shannon Flooring as of Dec 31, 2018.
It’s a decision my family and I have made after very careful consideration.
So please consider this note my expression of deep thanks for your business and the trust you have placed in me and in my company.
And while I’m announcing The End of the Shannon Flooring, I am excited to begin the next chapter in my professional life. And I hope you will continue to be part of that.
As of Jan 2, 2019, I will be transitioning to a new position at Streamline Floors. As you may know, Streamline Floors is a well-respected company that has been involved in commercial flooring for 14 years. They have asked me to join them as General Manager. Our goal is to continue a robust commercial following and develop the residential division, in a new 3500 sq. ft. facility in Kingston. (More details to follow, Feb 15 opening)
Streamline Floors shares my value and my vision of providing top-quality products along with the professionalism and courtesy that I have made my watchwords at Shannon Flooring.
So as I close out 2018, I want to thank you again for your business and for your friendships. I hope both of those can continue in my new position.
