One of the most humbling things about candle making is wick testing. 🫠

We ordered these 3 wick jars about 7 months ago- and even with the smallest wick in our typical brand-the jar still temps out too hot.

So, we're on to testing them as double wicks instead.

They sure are pretty though 😍

A little more personal today 🤎

We know this is a little different from what we normally share here, but Love Found has always been a pretty personal little business for us.

A lot of you know that our adoption journey is a big part of our story and one of the reasons this little business even exists.

We recently renewed our home study and are continuing to hope that someday, we might have the opportunity to grow our little family.

Before we officially say goodbye to fall scents for the year… 🍂🤎

Now that we're getting toward the end of the season, we're taking notes about which ones deserve a return next year.

Which scents have you loved?

Personally, Stay Awhile has been my favorite the last couple of weeks. It's the perfect pumpkin spice scent.

(We know we definitely need to bring Pumpkin Reserve back next year... We may have learned the hard way 🤣)

Poured the last of our autumn cuties last weekend 🍂

We'll be bringing them with us to the Nekoosa Giant Pumpkin Fest this weekend along with a couple holiday sneak peeks 🎄

Next weekend market season officially starts for us… and honestly, I have a little confession...

This is our biggest market yet, and while we're both really excited about it-I'm also a certified introvert with social anxiety, so the thought of a huge crowd + putting ourselves out there all weekend is…well, a lot.

I love what we do. And I love meeting the people who stop by our booth, and hearing about the memories that the scents transport you to. I absolutely love watching strangers find the candle that reminds them of home.

But the actual act of putting myself out there? That's where I have to work on getting out of my comfort zone.

So if you see us next weekend, please pop in and say hi. Seeing familiar faces, helps make the bigger events feel a little less overwhelming.

Anyway, we've been working on getting everything ready this weekend, and we're really looking forward to it. Just maybe send a little introvert encouragement our way, too. 🥰
