Nest

Directions

Nest Nest is home decor for the modern home specializing in small decor pieces, and unique, handmade and reimagined items. Our name stems from 2 meanings.

Located at She Shed Decor and More and Daisies Florist and Gifts. Nest is home decor for the modern farmhouse look. Beautiful and timeless neutrals set the backdrop, while updated and custom pieces make your space unique. The first is that we believe that your home is your nest; it is your place to express your style, unwind in and cherish memories. The second meaning comes from the founders' maiden names. NE are the first two letters of Jen's maiden name and ST are the first two letter's of Amy's maiden name. Together, they created NEST.

You know fall is officially here when you see the cotton fields in full bloom on the back country roads. We love this Hearth and Hand jug filled with cotton for a centerpiece, a mantle, kitchen island or entryway table. Switch out the cotton for greenery and some gold bells for Christmas and you have a piece that carries through each season. Stop in and see us this rainy weekend from 10 to 5 on Saturday or 12 to 4 on Sunday. We look forward to seeing you.

It’s officially fall and if you are like us, nothing makes us feel more cozy than lit candles. We are in love with these metal, rusty, chippy, floral taper candle holders. These would be beautiful on your mantle, your entryway or dining table, or styled in a bookshelf. Stop in to .daisies.flowers to check these out and so many other amazing finds. Grab yourself a pumpkin spiced treat on the way in. Open 9-6. We look forward to your visit.

If you know us, we love a scarf and a good statement piece of jewelry. These vintage brass horse harness medallions, repurposed into decorative charms, were popular in 19th century England. Carters and handlers used them to decorate their horses martingales and bridles for country fairs, competitions, and working horse parades. The medallions served as a status symbol to showcase the owner’s pride, wealth, or specific trade (such as breweries or agricultural farms). We fell in love with these for their beautiful images and thought they would be perfect for many uses. We have worn them with a denim shirt and styled with a scarf and have them currently on our front door fall wreath as a ribbon charm with the Queen City Crown. How would you use them? These are available at The She Shed Decor & More. We hope you will come check them out. I promise you will not find these in the mall. The words of affirmation in print on the scarf come at no extra charge. ❤️

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
