BLUE FESCUE

Tried and true... Love the Blue

This perennial grass looks great from Spring to fall.

Very low maintenance required. They are a care free grower. If the planting conditions are good, you should get many seasons of enjoyment out of these.

Moist well drained and full sun is the way to go with these. A STUNNING ACCENT for the landscape.

There are Several color options to choose from and it can be nice to mix colors together.

LIGHT: Lots of sun and on the dry side. Moist well drained works well. Sandy or silty soil is best.

Nothing too heavy for planting or you will lose them quickly.

Expect to pay $8 to $10 for a healthy quart size plant.

THE CROCUS.

IGW customers ENJOY this early, early bloomer.

No maintenance required. They are a care free grower. If the planting conditions are good, you should get many seasons of enjoyment out of these.

There are Several color options to choose from and it can be nice to mix colors together.

BLOOM time: you should expect a good six weeks of color from these early bloomers.

FLOWER: Bloom EARLY. They should be visible in the landscape now, if you planted them in the fall.

PLANTING TIME: Sept/ October

LIGHT: Lots of sun and on the dry side. Moist well drained works well too, if it's more sand than soil.

They will tolerate light shade.

These are very inexpensive and provide good early season color, but they are small so you will need several per hole. I Recommend no less than 5 per hole at a depth of no more than 3"

EXCELLENT border plant at a high of 4" to 6"

The initial installation can look underwhelming.

A common and natural occurrence. Especially one that customers are sometimes concerned with.

When installing a new landscape, the three year vision seems to work well. _

This is when new plants will begin to really develop. And if over planting initially then you will have a problem with overgrowth rather than the desired landscape you were planning for.
