We partnered with Sawgrass for a reason, and this reel shows exactly what that looks like in practice. πŸ–¨οΈ
Watch a full Sawgrass x Coastal sublimation workflow in action: design software on screen, professional printing, heat press in operation, and a finished custom garment at the end of it.

The design. The print. The press. The result.

If you've been building toward a sublimation setup, or you're already running one and want to see what a fully integrated workflow looks like, this reel is worth watching start to finish.

Coastal carries the sublimation blanks. Sawgrass handles the ink and printing system.
You press. You sell.

A Mimaki DTF operator recently told us something that stuck with us. πŸ–¨οΈ

"I spent three months troubleshooting clogging issues. Replaced maintenance parts. Called support. Nothing fixed it. Turned out the ink I was running was never formulated for the PhiTSO system."

Three months. Maintenance costs. Support calls.

All of it traced back to ink compatibility.

This is more common in Mimaki DTF operations than most operators realize.
The clogging, the color inconsistency, the output that drops in quality before the cartridge is empty, these aren't printer failures. They're what happens when ink isn't built for the system it's running in.

TruDTF from Coastal is specifically formulated for Mimaki's PhiTSO system.

Consistent output from first print to last. 600mL. Made in the USA.

The Mimaki runs as well as the ink running through it.

Every DTF shop owner who's ever stayed late troubleshooting what felt like a random adhesion failure needs to read this. πŸ–¨οΈ

The problem isn't random. It never was.

Manual powder application introduces three variables that compound with every production run:

β†’ Particle size inconsistency
β†’ Humidity sensitivity
β†’ Uneven cure profiles

These aren't printer problems. They're not press problems. They're powder problems, and no amount of adjusting settings fixes a variable that exists before the heat is ever applied.

Powderless DTF+ replaces the entire manual powder stage with adhesive-integrated transfer media and controlled thermal fusion.
No variables. No random failures.

Coastal just published a full technical guide covering the science, safety, and workflow economics, free to download.

We had to share this because the result genuinely surprised us. πŸͺ΅

Watch what happens when you put a Coastal sublimation cutting board blank on a Sawgrass SG500, press at 400Β°F for 45 seconds, and peel the paper back.

The design doesn't sit on top of the wood.
It becomes part of it.

Full color. Sharp edges. Completely vibrant, and it stays that way permanently.

If you've been doing sublimation on shirts and mugs and haven't tried cutting boards yet, you're missing one of the easiest product expansions in the game. Markets, Etsy shops, custom gift orders, cutting boards sell.

The blanks are at coastalbusiness.com, sublimation-ready, ships across the USA.

This is one of those deals we genuinely need to shout about. πŸ–¨οΈ

Hotronix is running a limited-time promo through June 26, and if you've been on the fence about adding a 16"Γ—20" heat press to your shop, $220 in platens included with your purchase is a pretty compelling reason to stop sitting on the decision.

Here's the deal: Buy any eligible Hotronix 16"Γ—20" press through Coastal and get the Shop Essentials Platen Set (6"Γ—10", 8"Γ—10" & 11"Γ—15") for $220 off.

More platens = sleeves, pockets, and smaller garments covered from day one. More job types without more equipment.
Eligible presses:

Fusion IQ
Air Fusion Pedestal & Tabletop
Auto Clam | Maxx250
Dual Air Fusion | Dual Air Fusion ProPlace IQ

Ends June 26.

Link in comments, shop before it's gone. πŸ‘‡

We're going to need you to tag a Sawgrass user for this one. πŸ–¨οΈ

Coastal just dropped Sawgrass prices, and it's across the board:
VersiFlex ink & media: 20%+ off

Standard: was $99.95 β†’ now $79.95
Extended: was $199.95 β†’ now $139.95

SG500 UHD Packages:

Starter: was $629.95 β†’ now $599.95
Standard: was $679.95 β†’ now $659.95

SG1000 UHD Packages:

Starter: was $1,799.95 β†’ now $1,649.95 (save $150)
Standard: was $1,849.95 β†’ now $1,699.95 (save $150)
Extended: was $1,999.95 β†’ now $1,899.95 (save $100)

Same Sawgrass gear. Smaller price tag.

If you've been on the fence about a Sawgrass setup, the price just got a lot easier to justify.

There's a conversation most DTF shops never have until they're deep into their second year of operation.

It usually goes something like this:

"I've been buying this ink because it was affordable. But I've also been running a lot of reprints. If I want to stock it, it gets expired in 6 months. I feel like I'm constantly adjusting. I'm starting to wonder if the ink is actually the problem."

Sound familiar?

Most shops start by asking "what's the price per mL?"

and that's the right first question when you're just getting started.
But experienced shops eventually add a second question that changes everything:

"How long does it actually work, and does it stay consistent all the way through?"

That's the evaluation ColorBlast DTF Ink For Mimaki Printers was built to pass.

Less Ink but better print
2 years of shelf life

Built for shops that are done troubleshooting and ready to just print.

Know a DTF shop owner stuck in that "constant adjustment" phase?
Tag them below, this is the conversation worth having. πŸ–¨οΈ

A print shop owner had a moment recently that most of us know a little too well.

Her printer went down on a Friday afternoon.
She had an order due Monday.

Instead of losing the client, or staying up all weekend troubleshooting, she submitted her design files to PrintYourTransfers service and had press-ready transfers shipped to her door in time to press and deliver.

That's one of the four moments PrintYourTransfers was built for.

The others are just as real:

β†’ When you're just getting started and can't justify the equipment investment yet

β†’ When orders stack up faster than your setup can handle

β†’ When you want to test a new design before committing to a full production run

You don't need a transfer printing service every day.

You need it when it matters, and when it matters, you don't have time to figure it out.

Comment "TRANSFERS" below and we'll walk you through the service. πŸ‘‡

A print shop owner told us something recently that we haven't stopped thinking about.

"I spent two years upgrading equipment. Didn't realize the slowdowns were coming from my ink and my materials the entire time."

She's not alone.

Most production bottlenecks in print shops don't come from the printer, they come from the inputs nobody's looking at:

β†’ Ink that delivers inconsistent output
β†’ Maintenance cycles that show up without warning
β†’ Materials that fight your workflow at every step

Small issues. Big production impact. Every single time.

We broke it down in the second image. worth saving for the next time production feels harder than it should.

Fix the inputs, not just the equipment.
