I've opened a new shop named "Kit and Caboodle" after myself and my service dog. I'll be making service dog gear and sometimes human accessories to match!

This isn't the first vest I wanted to make, but I needed to test my patten and the one I did want to make needed 11 color changes...I didn't want to deal with failing and repeating that lol. Wish me luck!

I got tired of trying to figure out what hook I was using on what crochet project so I made these to hook through the last loop. The crystals match my amour hooks 😁

Hello! I'm working to set up my shop again! But in the meantime, I wanted to announce that I'm changing my name to Maker Kit! I feel this better represents what it is I do! Thanks for your patience!

You know, I have a habit of seeing something in the store and saying "Oh, I must need that! And only that!" but when I ran into times where I wanted to desperately start a new craft and was already pinching pennies, or was mid-craft and ran out of money, I discovered a few 'duh' moments where I could use something I had around the house or even already on hand with that craft without spending any more money. I realized there were craft aids I could make with simple materials I had on hand instead of buying what I found in stores.

Before I get started on tutorials, I want to say one thing. Anyone can craft. And I mean it. It takes few things. Knowledge and perseverance most of all. With a lot of time and dedication I think anyone can get the ability to craft masterwork level gear. Some people sooner than others, granted. But it's still a possibility. I hear all the time when I show off my finished work "Oh you're so talented, I could never do that!" or "I wish I could make that! [ 225 more words. ]
