Monday project: compotes for UTK college of Nursing! We love to work for the college of nursing, and today was no exception, we created some really adorable centerpieces for an event they have this week at the country club.

Here is a little peek behind the scenes of making a small compote style centerpiece from start to finish! We used sustainable mechanics of recycled chicken wire as our base, and all of our focal blooms were grown on our farm.

Of course we take white weddings, our name may have rainbow in it but we love a timeless white floral moment!

Here are some tips for your white wedding florals:

-lean into the greens of a green and white wedding, texture and variety will give the interest that makes your florals really pop

-skip the white roses and eucalyptus, there are so many beautiful seasonal blooms, by opting for a seasonal focal flower: ranunculus in spring, peonies in summer, and dahlias in fall you will have florals that are unique to your event, and even more beautiful than focusing on only 1 type of flower.

-trust your florist! White weddings can be some of the most interesting and beautiful events when you play with shape, texture, and allow your florist to use the very best blooms and shapes to fit your vibe.
