The Darling Haunt We are a Mason family that just loves Halloween. You can see our "haunt" between 8am and 10pm. FAQ:
Q: How much does it cost? Q: Is your display lit at night?

Things are getting spooky out here in Mason, Michigan.

Please refer to the featured post below for FAQ. For your safety, please do not cross any chain or fence... and thank you for not touching! A: There is no cost to come see our Halloween yard display. A: We light it until 10:00 pm

. Some solar lights remain on after that but the rest are turned off and the display will not be very viewable. Q: Do props move or make noise? A: Many do, but sometimes they are off. We're often out in the yard. Just ask! Q: Is there parking? A: We have a spot on the west side of the property at the road where 3-4 vehicles can safely park. Feel free to park and walk through the entire circle drive. Q: Do you give out candy? A: On Halloween night during trick-or-treat hours (6:00-8:00pm for Mason), we give out candy bars. Please come trick-or-treating! Q: When will the display be taken down? A: November 1st. Q: Do you do a large Christmas display? A: We may have some lights but nothing big like Halloween... yet.

We are back up and running!

Holy wind, Batman! We’ve just had a freak storm that took down several of our props, including part of the big ship. We ran out and laid some other things down as best we could in the crazy wind and sideways rain. Fingers crossed nothing is broken… But the captain of the ship definitely lost his hat. 😅
