The Darling Haunt I'm just a Mason teacher who loves Halloween. You can see our "haunt" between 8am and 10pm throughout October. FAQ:
Q: Where are you located? A: 2815 Darling Rd.

Please refer to the featured/pinned post on the page for FAQ. For your safety, please do not cross any chain or fence, and thank you for not touching! in Mason, near Hagadorn Rd. and Holt Rd. Q: How much does it cost? A: There is no cost to see our Halloween yard display. Q: Is your display lit at night? A: We light it until 10:00 pm. Some solar lights remain on after that but the rest are turned off and the display will not be viewable. Q: Do props move or make noise? A: Many do, but sometimes they are off during the day. If we see you out there, we'll turn it on for you. Q: Is there parking? A: We have a spot at the road where 3+ vehicles can safely park on the grass (there are signs). Feel free to park and walk through the entire circle drive and follow the road back to your vehicle. The display is BEST VIEWED by walking through. Please do not drive through. It's tight and you won't see much. Q: Is it scary? A: Our display includes skeleton pirates and an extensive cemetery scene. The animatronics move and talk. I intentionally keep it more family-friendly. You will NEVER see killer clowns, demon babies, or things that are super scary/horrifying at our haunt. Bring the kids! Q: Do you give out candy? A: On Halloween night during trick-or-treat hours (6:00-8:00pm for Mason), we give out candy bars. Please come trick-or-treating! Q: When will the display be taken down? A: November 1st. Mr. Lautzenheiser doesn't dawdle. Q: Do you do a Christmas display? A: We may have some lights but nothing big. A NOTE: We have an adult son who is profoundly autistic. If you hear anything strange coming from the house, just know it's probably him. And if you see Austin, you can tell him hello.
