Health issues are still hanging on and our daughter got married on Halloween- finally had time to get to the booth . This Thursday November 13-Saturday November 15 is the 50th Mason Christmas Craft show located in Mason Michigan. Many local homes and businesses will be open for Holiday shopping. Pick up
a map here at Magpie Tales and shop all the local stores, antique shops and craft homes. There is also a huge craft show at the Ingham County Fairgrounds. Thank you to all of you who have been patiently waiting for updates. 😊

Today will be washing vintage aprons for the booth. It is a process that some people don’t realize that some vendors go through. I am one of those that like to have the things in my booth looking their best . Now don’t get me wrong I do like some things in their naturally aged patina but not all things. Have a great day! So sorry that I have not posted in a very long time. Long story short I have and continue going through some health issues. I am trying to get myself together and get back to my booth and posting but it is slow going. Please hang in there with me. THE COPPER GOOSE is ready for Christmas ! Come in and see all the wonderful items in the store. So many great items and vendors. We are located in the heart of mason’s antique district . This post is a glimpse of behind the scenes of a an antique booth. The left picture is some beautiful vintage dish towels and tablecloths soaking in Oxy and Dawn Dish Soap to whiten then without taking away their bright colors. Right side is the washing of the vintage cookie cutters . I get any leftover cookie dough and dust bunnies from all the nooks and crannies. They are then dried and put in cellophane packages. There is a lot of work that people don’t see while walking through your booth. Next time you look at something in my booth know it went through a process to get there. It was picked with love and care, it is cleaned and inspected and once it has passed inspection it gets placed and arranged in my booth waiting for its new home! THE COPPER GOOSE is ready to Open! Please visit my booth in the Mason Michigan Antique District at the Magpie Tales Store at 205 N Mason Street. Open Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm. Many great vendors with wonderful and unique items. We have a HUGE covered front porch with rocking chairs if you need to sit a spell. Many other stores on the same street and for your dining pleasure MASON DEPOT RESTAURANT is right next door and MICHIGAN BARN WOOD & SALVAGE is right around the corner! Make a day of it and shop the quaint town of Mason.

The Copper Goose is moving! I will be updating the page very soon. My booth at 525 North Cedar is now closed and will be reopening soon at 205 N Mason St. My new location is in the Mason Antiques District in the Magpie Tales building. Located next door to The Old Mill Antiques and the Depot Restaurant. Just around the corner from Michigan Barn wood. Please stay tune for my opening date and pictures.
