⭐️From the first grind to the final topcoat — Cincinnati Color is with you every step of the way⭐️
Over the past couple of months, we’ve been working to coordinate a training day with a contractor who had been getting requests for epoxy flooring but had never tackled a project like this before. They finally decided it was time to take the next step, and we were ready to help them get there.
Here’s what that looked like, start to finish:
Step 1: Concrete Grinding & Surface Preparation
Understanding the foundation of a successful floor, from proper concrete grinding and crack repair to edge work, stem walls, and the details that make all the difference.
Step 2: Coating Application
Learning the proper application techniques for epoxy and polyurea systems to build a strong foundation for a quality finished floor.
Step 3: Flake Broadcast
Understanding how to broadcast flake properly to achieve consistent coverage and a professional appearance.
Step 4: The Final Topcoat
Finishing the system with a clear polyaspartic topcoat to bring the entire floor together with a durable, professional finish.
This morning, I received a text from the contractor thanking us for the training and sharing how much they appreciated the time we invested in helping them learn the process. Even better? They just completed their first successful floor!
