Finished up three baby quilts for a customer! They are the same pattern, same fabric-different colors, with the same zoo animal quilting. I love how they turned out! It is amazing how fabric and color make such a difference in a quilt.

I was commissioned to make three generic baby quilts for a customer. She needed the first by June 6, the rest soon after. I delivered the first on Thursday and will finish the other two this week. They will be the same pattern, same fabric in different areas, different backings, and bindings. The pattern is called Racheal. This was the first time making it although I have had the pattern for 3 1/2 years.

Let the quilt making begin. This will be a “Fourpatch Strippy” when I am done. This is the first quilt for me of 2026. I have already quilted a king-sized quilt for a customer. I ended the year with a t-shirt quilt that I made for a customer as a Christmas present.
My oldest daughter had my first grandchild Christmas night, so the trip out to spend time with them and a few last minute afghans had me out of the shop. One went to wrap the baby, in addition to the three quilts that I made for the baby shower!
