Let the quilt making begin. This will be a “Fourpatch Strippy” when I am done. This is the first quilt for me of 2026. I have already quilted a king-sized quilt for a customer. I ended the year with a t-shirt quilt that I made for a customer as a Christmas present.
My oldest daughter had my first grandchild Christmas night, so the trip out to spend time with them and a few last minute afghans had me out of the shop. One went to wrap the baby, in addition to the three quilts that I made for the baby shower!

This is being gifted this weekend. A baby blanket for a very special little girl. So excited for the baby! The pattern that I pieced is a pattern from a variation of “Courthouse Steps” from the 1800s, it is calle Garden Steps, tgat is usually used with a French toile fabric. I loved the modern colors and quilted it with a butterfly pattern.

This t-shirt quilt is filled with band and show choir tees. The quilting is “musically” inspired.
