I'm on my way to the Clifton Quilt Guild this evening. We are doing a project, so I'm cutting all the stuff up now. Also finished 2 tumbler quilts that I'm going to kit. They're great. I think Mike has already put them up on the website. I will be giving them to Janice tomorrow to quilt them. Gotta run - have a great evening everyone.

The Farmer's Wife group got together Friday night and Marge brought in the sample for the Trees all Around workshop. It was really beautiful. I've decided that I'm going to make it a hand and machine workshop. Janet will work with everyone in the beginning of the class and then once it gets to the applique part, Janet can work with the people who will hand applique and I will work with the people who machine applique. I've started decorating the shop with my fall decorations and have to say it looks quite nice. I've also made a sample of this really cool table runner, which I'm going to try and post (bear with me). The pattern and template are flying out of the shop. I guess because it comes out so nice. We've gotten in some really nice fabrics. Don't forget, the holidays are coming. We've got some great ideas for gifts.

Wow, what an unbelievable couple of weeks. First the earthquake, then Irene and then another unnamed storm that wreaked havoc all over the tri-State area. Hopefully, it won't rain for a while so things can dry out a bit. We just had our first Welcome Back sale in the new shop and things went splendidly. It was so nice to see those of you who visited for the first time and hope that you enjoyed your visit. Just wanted to thank all of you who stopped by for your continued support.

We were open on Sunday for the Maywood Street Fair. The day was great, except for that it was a bit muggy. We had lots of new visitors in the shop. it was so nice meeting everyone. We got in some new fabric today and have put out the new bolt of the week. Hopefully, the workshop schedule will be online by the end of the week. Have a great evening. The weather is getting cooler. Can you feel it???
