What an honor it is to alter wedding gowns but even more so, for a friend. I have know Michelle and her family for many, many years and had so much fun making her dress extra special for her wedding day.

Michelle wore an A-line Champagne gown with ivory lace & tulle overlay. Her sides and straps were adjusted, darts were added to the back, arm holes were dropped. She also needed the under-layers hemmed and a 5 pt American bustle added.

I was so excited to see IRL pictures sent over by her dad. What a beautiful bride, family and venue!

Congrats, Michelle!! I hope it was everything you dreamed! 🎉

🇺🇸 Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and love for others have given us freedoms that we often enjoy every day.

As we gather with family and friends, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude on the lives that were given and the families who continue to carry that sacrifice in their hearts.

From my family to yours, we remember, we honor, and we are deeply thankful. ❤️🤍💙

Let’s do a little Sunday Funday Catch up. 🎉These projects are from March-May.

Might be a few repeats, might have forgotten what I altered but…hey, I’m over here losing my marbles staying busy, as always 🤪🩷

My first May bride was married at none other than, Heban’s Field of Dreams 🩷

Kayla wore an intricate A-line wedding gown with lace detail covering her bodice that trickled down her flowy tulle skirt. Kayla’s straps were adjusted and permanently added to her dress vs. removable. She also needed the bust adjusted, hemming, and a 5pt. American bustle was added. Lastly, I used the leftover pieces from her hem to craft a scrunchy for her to use later in the evening.

Kayla, thank you so much for the opportunity to alter your dress! My favorite parts were your covered buttons down your train and the lace detail. You are so Beautiful and I hope you had an amazing wedding day!

Over the last 5 years, I have had the pleasure of working with an amazing women who always put a smile on my face. She has become a great friend and I loved getting to work with her creativity.

A very very special wedding day shout out to my beautiful and bubbly sister! 🩷 She is goofy and outgoing and we had tons of fun creating her dream dress. (I told her she had to do her own alterations so she can learn new skills 😉…morale support)

We designed her dress to be detachable at the knee tier. Abbie added snaps so we could snap it off after the ceremony. She spent time adding colorful florals to the back of the train. They matched the bridesmaids dresses. She also wanted sleeves, so I found some lace material in my stock pile and showed her how to make sleeves. Her “veil” was made into a cute little bow.

Abbie and her hubby were married in April at Harvest Moon Venue in Ashland, OH. Their wedding was Shakespeare’n themed very much like the theatrical characters that they are. 🎭

In addition to Abbie’s dress, I did alterations for the fam clan. My brothers suit pants needed to be hemmed and his suit jacket needed to be let out some. My oldest need her dress taken in, mini me need her dress let out and the ornery baby needed her dress hemmed. My dress also needed to be taken in. Everyone received a fresh press and steaming for the big day. 🎉 Congrats sis! We love you!! 🥰

Happy 🎉

This sweet and kind soul had a show stopping ballgown with allover embossed floral design, runched bodice, chapel length train and beautiful covered buttons down the back of her dress. Libbey needed her sides taken in, bust adjusted, length hemmed, sleeves attached and a 5 pt. bustle was added. I steamed her dress for the big day!

Libbey and her fiancé were married at Heban’s Field of Dreams in April. CONGRATS! Hope you had a beautiful wedding day! 🤩
