Custom tile for a more tailored look, or a solid surface system like the Onyx Collection for simplicity and low maintenance.

We install both. We’re curious, which do you prefer?

What’s on the agenda for today!?!……. All the things!! Every last one of ‘em!!

We’ve got on our hands, a kitchen that’s just plain confused as to why it was smattered with a large portion of Home Depot’s miscellaneous mouldings catalog. Two and a half baths that no longer provide you with that fresh feeling or overwhelming relief they once did. A bare bones fireplace on a giant empty wall in a living room devoid of even the slightest interest and 2,500 square feet of home that literally breathed a sigh of relief (though may have just been gas) as soon as our team showed up on site!

A bleak circumstance indeed… but a dire fate…. NEVER!!!!!

Here at Highwood Builder Group, we’re not afraid to let you know we get wood! And when we do, we know how to use it!!!

Our client came to us with a few inspiration photos for a dramatic transformation in their living room. We measured the space and designed this custom mantle flanked by two arch top bookshelves. The lower storage cabinets with low voltage chase allows all A/V and media components to be out of site for a clean presentation. Concealed, dimmer controlled LED lighting coupled with tempered glass shelves really stand out beautifully against the dark gray, almost black finish (Benjamin Moore - Wrought Iron 2124-10). The results are simply a stunning a custom feature wall!!
