Highwood Builder Group is looking to add to the team!

🔨 Lead Carpenter / Journeyman Carpenter
We’re looking for someone who takes serious pride in their craft. Someone who notices when something isn’t right and fixes it before anyone has to say a word. If you’re the type who believes “good enough” is good enough, this probably isn’t the place for you.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of verifiable residential carpentry experience
• Strong rough and finish carpentry skills
• Ability to read plans and work independently
• Leadership experience
• Professional communication with homeowners and other trades
• Your own tools
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance—we need someone our clients and team can count on

🛠 Experienced Construction Laborer
This is not an entry-level position.
We’re looking for someone with residential construction experience who knows their way around a job site, works hard, pays attention to detail, and wants to be part of a team that takes pride in what we build.
Requirements:
• Residential construction experience
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Takes initiative and doesn’t need to be told every next step

Happy Tuesday from Highwood Builder Group!!!!

Check out this smokin’ little number!! Here’s a beautiful basement we’ve got going on for our clients in Cary, IL!

This basement packs it all…. Literally every box you can check has been filled and now it’s time to make it real! We’ve packed everything from a home office, to a kitchenette, and a full bath with a spacious walk in shower!

No detail has been left out, and nothing spared. Everything going into this build out is the cream of the crop! Full custom design, in house, from bottom to top courtesy of the Highwood team!

It’s the freakin’ weekend baby!!!!! But before you check out for some fun on this Memorial Day weekend…. check out a little snippet of what is about to be revealed!

We can’t show you everything because where is the fun in that but we will show you some of it!

When it comes to shower upgrades, most of our clients land in one of two directions.
Custom tile for a more tailored look, or a solid surface system like the Onyx Collection for simplicity and low maintenance.

We install both. We’re curious, which do you prefer?
