Life has felt a little heavier lately.
It's reminded me just how grateful I am for home… not because it's perfect, but because it's the place where I can breathe a little deeper, gather with the people I love, and find a little peace at the end of the day.
It's a gentle reminder that the best homes aren't just beautiful. They're a refuge.
Has anyone else been feeling especially grateful for home lately? 🤍

One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to hear the stories behind the homes.
Every family lives differently. Every home serves a different purpose. And I truly believe the best spaces are the ones that reflect the people who live there.
So let's have some fun...
If you could instantly change one thing about your home, what would it be?
I'd love to hear your answers (and I have a feeling a lot of us will have the same one! 🤍)

One of my favorite things to notice in a home isn't the countertops or the paint color.
It's the place everyone naturally ends up.
Every family seems to have one. A chair that's always occupied, a breakfast nook where conversations linger, a porch that becomes the favorite evening hangout, or a cozy corner that's claimed before anyone else can get to it.
Those spaces don't become special because they're expensive. They become special because they invite people to slow down, gather, rest, and simply be together.
That's what I love most about design. It's not just about creating beautiful rooms, it's about creating places where life naturally happens.
Now I have to know… what's the "most fought-over seat" in your home? 🤍

Your entryway has one job: to make coming home feel good.
It's the first thing you see after a long day and the first impression your guests have when they walk through the door. But more than that, it's the space that quietly says, "You're home."
A welcoming entryway doesn't have to be grand. Sometimes it's a warm lamp, a beautiful rug, a place to set your keys, or a simple bench that invites you to slow down for a moment.
The coziest homes aren't always the biggest or the most decorated. They're the ones that make you feel at ease the moment you step inside.
What makes your entryway feel like home? 🤍

In a world that constantly encourages us to replace, upgrade, and start over, there's something beautiful about a home that grows with you.
The best homes aren't built overnight. They're layered over time through meaningful updates, collected treasures, memories made around the dinner table, and spaces that evolve alongside the people who live in them.
Some of my favorite projects aren't about completely reinventing a home. They're about uncovering its potential, honoring its story, and helping it better serve the next season of life.
That's one of the reasons I love design so much. It's not just about making a space look beautiful. It's about creating a home that becomes more meaningful, more functional, and more "you" with each passing year.
A well-loved home should get better with age and so should the stories it holds. 🤍

What does your dream Saturday at home look like?
Maybe it's slow coffee on the porch before the rest of the house wakes up. Maybe it's sharing a charcuterie board with friends, curling up for a movie night, or finally enjoying that cozy reading nook you've always wanted.
One of my favorite things about design is that it goes beyond paint colors and furniture. The best spaces support the life you want to live and the moments you want to create.
A beautiful home isn't just about how it looks, it's about how it feels to spend your days there.
So tell me... what's your dream Saturday at home? 🤍

One of the things I love about Dallas Market Center is that it pushes creativity forward.
While timeless design will always have my heart, it's important to stay connected to what's new, evolving, and inspiring in the design world. From bold colors and unexpected textures to fresh takes on classic styles, Market is full of ideas that challenge the norm and spark new possibilities.
Not every trend is meant for every home, but seeing what's emerging helps me create spaces that feel current, intentional, and uniquely tailored to the people who live in them.
Sometimes the best design happens when you're willing to take a thoughtful risk. ✨

Dallas Market Center truly is a designer's playground.
Every showroom is filled with inspiration, fresh ideas, and beautiful details that spark creativity. I love discovering pieces and possibilities that help transform a house into a home.
The best part? Imagining how these ideas will eventually come to life for my clients. 🤍
