Myrtle always felt more at home in the forest. She could hear the trees sigh and whisper, the ferns told secrets and the soft earth snored. Timothy loves books, not just any books, but old books with weathered leather covers and beautifully marbled pages. He lives in a tiny cottage tucked away in a quiet village, where one room has been devoted entirely to his treasured collection. Bookshelves stretch from floor to ceiling, every one of them crowded with ancient volumes. In the corner, a small fireplace glows softly, giving off just enough warmth to ward off the evening chill. There, settled comfortably in his worn leather chair, Timothy sips a cup of tea and loses himself in the delicate, timeworn pages of yet another leather-bound marbled paged book.
